An artist, a mother, a wife, an entrepreneur and above all a friend, Laura embodies all these great facets, but what she likes to remind everyone and that before everything is a woman, who wants to offer other women something that can make them express themselves in a unique and special way, and to do this she possessed the genius to be able to create jewels that are not only high-class but also incredibly versatile in such a way that they can adapt to today’s sophisticated and dynamic women.

Versatility, the trademark

Nanis takes its name from the eyes and smile of a little girl who stared at designer Laura during a trip to Haiti in 1986.
The little girl was called Nanishka, she lived alone in the sugar field.
Her strength was her smile.
To Nanishka and in the light of her, Nanis owes her name.

The Nanis collections have always told of a contemporary and intrinsically renewed jewel, whose versatility is intrinsic in her DNA.
So much so that the elegance of the “transformist” collection was awarded the centurion award in 2016 and the inhorgenta award in 2018.

Boule Nanis

Women and nature are among the greatest inspirations of our Laura.
Organicity and sinuosity are balanced in the roundness of nature which are perfectly reflected in women who are sensual and fascinating beings.
This inspired the Boules or better defined “unusual golden pearls”, which have defined many Nanis creations over the years, finding a new interpreter every time.
In each Nanis creation we find their harmony with which you can feel sweetness and softness, thanks to the hand-made engraving and the Nanis excellent workmanship.

The manufacture

Craftsmanship is the heart of the Nanis company, whose hands of master goldsmiths masterfully combine creativity, experience and talent, acquired after many years of training in goldsmithing techniques, to represent the Nanis DNA that make each creation distinctive.

The surfaces of Nanis jewels are made unique by ancient and handcrafted processes such as ribbed burin engravings.
With this tool combined with a great deal of experience, they blend in combining strength and delicacy with which our master goldsmiths engrave furrows and draw the features of Nanis jewels giving them a semblance similar to that of silk and extremely brilliant.

Furthermore, we would like to underline the various forms of brush polishing, which on Nanis jewels are always finished in an excellent way.

Among the most precise processes there is certainly the wire polishing, finished by hand and performed by the patient and skilled hands of our craftsmen.
